Direct Roving Winder
Model: DS 330, DS 380

The direct roving winders DS 330 and DS 380 are used for pulling off glass or basalt fibres from bushings continuously. They are therefore equipped with two winding spindles which are changed over automatically while the threads are transferred from one winding mandrel to the other. The type denomination refers to the maximum possible package diameter to produce whether 330 mm or 380 mm. They are designed to stand up to non-stop operation under stress conditions caused by severe fouling and the strong usage of size. The machines are constructed to wind glass- or basalt fibres in a yarn count range from approximately 68 – 9600 tex. According to the machine layout it is possible to produce from 1 to 4 or even 6 packages on a mandrel simultaneously. The modular design allows us to adapt the machines exactly to your individual production requirements. Basic equipment: Intuitive machine adjustments via touch panels with visualised program operation. Automatic cleaning of the traverse mechanism by water jets. Precise, electronic controlled crossing ratio to gain rovings with a good suitability for high-frequency drying systems.

Cake Winder
Model: DST 371

The cake winder DST 371 is used for pulling off glass or basalt fibres from bushings continuously. The fibres are wound cakes of saddle or trapezoidal shape. It is therefore equipped with two winding spindles which are changed over automatically while the threads are transferred from one winding mandrel to the other. For traversing the threads, the rotating flyer moves in an additional changeable movement above the winding mandrel. It is designed to stand up to non-stop operation under stress conditions caused by severe fouling and the strong usage of size. You can produce 1 to 3 cakes simultaneously on one winding mandrel. Basic equipment: Intuitive machine adjustments via touch panels with visualised program operation. Precise, electronic controlled crossing ratio to gain rovings with a good suitability for high-frequency drying systems. Programmable winding of protection layers. Automatic cleaning of the machine components by water jets.

Cake Winder
Model: DST 373

The cake winder DS 373 is used for pulling off glass or basalt fibres from bushings continuously. The fibres are wound cakes of saddle or trapezoidal shape. It is therefore equipped with two winding spindles which are changed over automatically while the threads are transferred from one winding mandrel to the other. The fix flyer rotates above the traversing mandrel for traversing the threads. A better product quality by lower thread deflection is gained (thread triangle is smaller) because of this distribution of the movements. This winding principle requires less thread deflection points with correspondingly less thread tension. This winding process is of great advantage, especially with very small titers because of these reasons. The winder is designed to stand up to non-stop operation under stress conditions caused by severe fouling and the strong usage of size. Folding-Roving Winder
Model: DS 35 E

The precision cross winder DS 35 E is used for folding and winding glass fibre filaments to rovings in a yarn count range up to 4800 tex. The machine is designed for permanent operation. The modular design allows us to adapt the machine exactly to your individual production requirements. Basic equipment: Opertion terminal to input the windng parameters and to check the actual machine and production state. Electronic meter count wheel. Admission of sealing air to the traverse mechanism and the meter count wheel to avoid contaminations. Fingerbrake to adjust the thread tension. Adjustment of the crossing ration by a conoid gear. Pneumatic shell mandrels for a quick bobbin swap. These make winding possible also without tubes. Reverse lock for a proper bobbin build. Adjustable contact pressure, decreasing over the package build.

Glass Texturising Machine Model: DS 60 / DST 90 / DST 90 FB

The machine family of glass texturising machines is used for texturising fibre glass or mixtures (e.g. glass fibre/kevlar) in a yarn count range up to 9600 tex. The DST 90 FB is especially designed for the production of glass fibre ribbon from direct rovings or cakes. The texturised material is subsequently wound with a precision cross winder to bobbins. Basic equipment: Central operation terminal with touch screen and intuitive visualised program operation. Check the actual production parameters of the individual winding positions or a summary of the whole line. You also can set winding parameters and create and administer winding receipts. This results in short setting-up times. Storage of up to 99 different sets of production parameters in form of winding receipts. Direct drive of all godets. Sealed jet box with exchangeable specific jets to gain the desired texturising result. Dancer control for constant thread tension and production speed. Pull off device for up to 4 precursor packages. Connection possibility to a central evacuation system.
